This vacancy is open for the Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht and Eindhoven office.
What you will do
As Senior Consultant Tax Accounting Services you operate at the interface of taxation and accounting and you know everything there is to know about processing profit taxes in the annual accounts of Dutch and foreign multinationals. Using the latest data extraction, transformation and visualization software solutions, you help clients make optimal use of their financial and tax data to comply with international reporting requirements as quickly as possible, or you audit the tax position in the financial statements. You make use of the concurrence between accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP, Dutch GAAP) and tax legislation. As for advisory assignments you should think of advising and supporting clients in:
- optimizing their tax accounting and tax compliance process (incl. use of technology).
- the reporting requirements resulting from specific transactions such as a carve-out, IPO, bond listing and acquisitions.
- the tax (accounting) analysis resulting from the implementation of new accounting standards.
- tax accounting technical issues.
- preparation of position papers for the purpose of the financial statement process.
- reviewing tax compliance processes and preparing complex returns.
In addition, you will be responsible for account management on your client portfolio (both advisory and audit clients).
